The ads and cookie popups were so bad on this site I just had to close out instead of reading the article. Such a shame that we've destroyed the internet with these monetization strategies. Hopefully we can find a way to clean it up, or at least isolate our attention from this kind of stuff. To be honest, having a site like this leak on to Hacker News lowers the value of Hacker News for me.

I renders fine with uBlock Origin. I do wish it had an option to allow ads on sites that were reasonable.

The problem seems to be that the sites don't really control the reasonableness of the ads and there's no large ad network choice that can maintain a level of reasonableness.

Speaking of breathing: my liver is pushing against my diaphragm and causing my lower right lung lobe to not inflate properly. Could this be an anatomical thing or an enlarged liver? CT scan with contrast said my liver was unremarkable. Am I not inhaling deep enough to push my liver where it belongs?
